Asian Oncology Summit (AOS) is organised with a vision to establish a community of Asian oncologists to guide and improve multidisciplinary cancer care, in order to improve the outcomes and quality of life of cancer patients in Asia. AOS Organiser is committed to organising AOS on a yearly basis across countries within Asia over the years to come involving Key Opinion Leaders in Oncology from the Region.
AOS 2009 is organized by Elsevier under the auspices of The LANCET Oncology and Singapore Society of Oncology (SSO). It is held in conjunction with the 2nd South East Asian Oncology Forum and 3rd Singapore Society of Oncology Board Review Course.
AOS 2009 will bring together international and Asian experts to address scientific and clinical topics in the area of oncology. AOS 2009 encompasses six parallel suites covering haemato-oncology, breast, gastrointestinal, gynaecological, head & neck, and lung cancer. The suites will define the latest clinical needs for oncologists in Asia and will offer an opportunity for the exchange ideas and thoughts that will help inform clinical practice.
The Summit will also contain notable international experts discussing topics of pertinent clinical relevance to the situation we live in today. In addition to the didactic lectures, there will be interactive sessions such as case discussion, debate session which will set the scene to conclude with consensus development from each suite at the end of the Summit.
